I’m not sure when this came out, but I like Esri’s Sketch-a-Map tool. Interface is manageable and reasonably intuitive, and the range of functions seems reasonable, for what this is. I’m not sure why they limited the scale to about 1:18000; one definitely wants to zoom in further. And I wish they’d provided some display of lat/long coordinates. And I wish I could do simple “locates” outside of the US (without using lat/longs). But I guess we have other mapping applications for those things! For a very basic application, this does what it says it will do.
