After trips to Egypt (Diana) and Copenhagen (Chris), we settled down for a few “regular” weeks at home in London.
- the Wandle Trail runs past our house in both directions.
- neighborhood running/walking path.
- Visitor #1: Kim and Chris laughing over old stories from when they were in high school together. Go Spartans!
- Fortuitous gathering of Middlebury friends in London for a dinner
- Middlebury women rock!
- Pure hilarity.
- Sky.
- Visitors #2: Exploring the nearby Morden Hall Park with John and Wendy Sinton
- Japenese garden inside Holland Park
- Big Ben under wraps.
- ceiling, Westminster Abbey
- Cool old building
- And, if you look more closely, you learn that Cetshwayo, King of the Zulus, stayed there in 1882. So much history here.
- Excellent play.
- dreamy Liberty patterns.
- The 1840 room at the Tate Britain. Sigh, how I love it.
- The home office space, where many hours are spent each week.
